Project Overview
Metro Vancouver formed a Solid Waste and Recycling Industry Advisory Committee (IAC) in early 2022 to consider management planning, operations and policy issues related to solid waste and recycling services in Metro Vancouver, as well as the ongoing solid waste management plan update. The purpose of the IAC is to act as a forum through which industry representatives receive information, provide advice, and channel feedback.
Solid Waste and Recycling Industry Advisory Committee Membership:
The 2022 IAC includes 31 members representing private waste and recycling collection and processing companies, and their industry associations within Metro Vancouver. The membership submission process for the 2023 IAC will open in late 2022.
