Agricultural Advisory Committee

The Agricultural Advisory Committee (AAC) was formed in 1992 to provide advice to Metro Vancouver’s Regional Planning Committee and to the Metro Vancouver Regional District Board on matters affecting local farming. The AAC raises awareness about the importance of agriculture in the region and serves as a forum to communicate agricultural concerns to all levels of government.

The AAC members have diverse expertise and represent municipalities, agriculture commodity groups, educational institutions and food-related organizations from throughout the region.
