Colony Farm Regional Park | | Coquitlam | | Colony Farm originally supplied food for psychiatric and penal institutions in the province; later it evolved as a showcase for agriculture. Lynn Headwaters Regional Park | | North Vancouver | | Lynn Headwaters is known for mountainous terrain with heavily forested, steep slopes. Most trails are rugged and suit visitors experienced in backcountry travel, with the right equipment. Some day-hiking oportunities for less experienced hikers can be found closer to the park entrance where there are also picnic tables and opportunities to learn about early logging history in the park.

Visitors will find vestiges of logging done in years gone by. Capilano River Regional Park | | North Vancouver | | This regional park offers over 26 km of hiking trail through coastal rainforest and runs the length of the Capilano River from the Cleveland Dam to its mouth at Ambleside Park in West Vancouver. Sightseeing, fishing, picnic facilities and a fish hatchery are key attractions.

Brunette-Fraser Regional Greenway | | Burnaby | | This was the first link in the regional greenway network and is part of the Central Valley Greenway connecting Vancouver to New Westminster. When completed, it will extend 16 km from Burnaby Mountain to the Fraser River. It follows the Burnaby Mountain Urban Trail; drainage corridors along Stoney Creek and the Brunette River, and streets in New Westminster to reach Sapperton Landing.

Delta-South Surrey Regional Greenway | | Delta | | This new regional greenway runs from Annacis Island to Mud Bay along the South Surrey Interceptor sewer corridor and will be under construction over the next five years. The 2.3 km section between 64th Avenue and Highway 10 is officially open. Also Surrey’s Mud Bay Park which serves as the southern terminus is open and connects to the Boundary Bay Dyke Trail.

Pitt River Regional Greenway | | Pitt Meadows | | The first phase of the Pitt River Regional Greenway is now open, stretching 10.2 km west from the waterfront parkland at Harris Landing (at the foot of Harris Road in Pitt Meadows) to Ferry Slip Road. The greenway follows the Fraser and Pitt River dykes, offering excellent opportunities for walking, cycling and bird watching. Enjoy beautiful views of mountains, rivers and working farmland.

Robert Point | | Surrey | | Robert Point Rest Area is located on Barnston Island. Once part of Surrey Bend Regional Park, it is now part of Barnston Island Regional Park. Facilities listed here are for Robert Point only.

Terra Nova Rural Park | | Richmond | | Terra Nova Rural Park is a city-wide nature park with historic buildings, a community garden and a picnic area. The total park area is 63 acres.
This park has excellent habitat for birds and other wildlife in the area. Boardwalks, slough and viewing platforms are available for enhanced park visibility and access. Various agriculturally oriented activities take place at the park including: a Waterwise Demonstration Garden, Community Garden and is home to user groups such as the Fruit Tree Sharing Project and the Terra Nova School Yard Project.

Garry Point Park | | Richmond | | Garry Point Park is large 75 acres waterfront park, located close to historic Steveston Village. The park provides spectacular views of the Fraser River and the Gulf Islands and is one of the BEST places to watch the sunset in Richmond.
The unique rolling landscape of Garry Point includes such features as Kuno Garden - a Japanese style memorial garden, beached logs and sandy beach access, interpretation signage dots the landscape, a prominent public art piece - the Fisherman's Memorial Needle and moorage with buildings and docks at historic Scotch Pond.

T. Homma Park | | Richmond | | T. Homma Neighbourhood Park is a 5.75 acres school/park located in the bustling Steveson area. The park has a ball diamond, a playground, open lawn area for picnicking and to the south, has immediate access to Britannia Heritage Shipyard Park across Dyke Road.

Steveston Community Park | | Richmond | | Steveston Community Park has a total park area of 30.655 acres. It has many amenities including spray/waterplay, Dogs off-leash, picnic area, 3 ball Diamonds, basketball court, 2 tennis courts, lacrosse, and a playground. There are interpretation signs on site in various locations.
The millennium water feature is located on the corner of No. 1 Road and Moncton Road, and it commemorates Steveston fishing traditions. The waterplay park amenity is open from mid-June to early-September, hours of operation are from dawn to dusk.
Multiple buildings on the site include: Steveston Community Centre, Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre, Martial Arts Centre, Steveston Public Library, outdoor swimming pool and more.
Temporary Dogs off-leash area is now available in the Fentimen area of Steveston Park.

This athletics oriented park in the South Arm area has a large community centre facility, 10 sports fields, 9 ball diamonds, 4 basketball courts, 8 tennis courts, and a large playground. To support the sports activities at the park, there are 9 portable wooden bleachers located near the ball diamonds. In addition to field sports, there is a seasonally operated, heated outdoor pool with water slides.

Paulik Park | | Richmond | | Paulik Neighbourhood Park is a 6.188 acres park with various features including a garden, community garden, public art and a children's playground area.
The site has an existing perennial garden and large historic woodlots that will be maintained and enhanced as the park develops. The perennial garden is currently maintained by volunteers from the Richmond Garden Club. This site provides excellent habitat for songbirds and will include a watergarden, water feature and frog pond. A completed Community Garden is now open for gardeners!
The public art piece "House of Roots" by Jeanette Lee was unveiled and installed in June 2005.

Minoru Park | | Richmond | | Minoru Park is located in City Centre and has a total park area of 65.417 acres. There are lots of park amenities and features including artificial turf field, running oval, bowling green, historic buildings, 4 sports fields, 5 tennis courts, playground and basketbal court.
A key feature in the park is Clement Track, a track and field oval used by community groups, schools and the public for track meets. Bleachers are onsite for spectator viewing. Also, a cricket pitch is available for user groups.
Numerous pathways and trails connect the passive side of Minoru Park to the more athletic, sporting side of the park. Minoru Lakes and the pathways around the lakes provide a quiet retreat from the bustling City Centre.
There are beautiful annual and perennial floral displays throughout the park, particularly in the Minoru Chapel, Pierrefonds Garden and lake area. Richmond Art Gallery, Art Centre and Seniors Centre are all located in the southeast end of the park in the Richmond Cultural Centre, the hub of the Richmond Arts Community. The largest public library in Richmond is located in the Cultural Centre building.
The park is also home to the Minoru Aquatic Centre, Minoru Ice Skating Arena and Minoru Fitness Pavillion - providing a well rounded athletic venue. Gateway Theatre is located on the west side of the park near Minoru Chapel.

Along the Middle Arm of the Fraser River you can enjoy views of the North Shore mountains, Gulf Islands (on a clear day), rowing activities, airplanes and beautiful sunsets.
With direct links to Aberdeen Canada Line Station, this urban waterfront was used heavily by visitors of the Richmond Olympic Oval during the 2010 Games. Since then, this beautiful greenway and linear park is now frequently travelled by bicycle commuters using the Canada Line.
The park features two new piers, an amphitheatre, multiple accessible play area for children of all ages, public art installations, lush native plantings, waterfront benches and access to UBC Boathouse and Richmond Olympic Oval.
