Current Air Quality Conditions 
Current Air Quality in Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley

Current air quality conditions for Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley are now available on the BC Air Quality website. The BC Air Quality website displays the current and forecast Air Quality Health Index (AQHI) for all of BC, including Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley, and provides an interactive map for easy access to current pollutant data from individual stations.

To access more detailed information for a specific station and/or pollutant:
• Click anywhere within the Inset Map of Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley (in the lower right corner) to zoom in;
• Click on the specific station of interest (for example: Burnaby South);
• For more details on a specific pollutant, click on the name of the pollutant within the white box to see a graph of the latest readings (for example: if you are interested in particles, click on “PM2.5”).

Visual Air Quality

Visual air quality refers to our ability or inability to see through the atmosphere as a result of air quality conditions, excluding those associated with meteorological conditions like fog or rain. For more information about visual air quality and current conditions, visit www.clearairbc.ca.
