CleanBC Go Electric Rebates for EV Charging

As part of the Province’s plan to make clean transportation options more accessible and affordable for British Columbians, BC Hydro is now offering rebates for the purchase and installation of electric vehicle (EV) chargers in homes and condos. Starting September 26, 2019, condo and apartment rebates are available. The level of incentive depends on when your building was constructed with respect to municipal bylaws requiring EV-ready parking stalls:

  • For buildings constructed prior to municipal bylaws: Up to 50% of purchase and installation costs of eligible, new, Level 2 (208-volt or 240-volt) charging stations or energized outlets to a maximum of $14,000 (no more than $2,000 per station). Dual-port stations count as two.
