Solid Waste Notification of Licence Applications

We ensure that all applicants for new solid waste licences and amendments to licences adhere to the Procedure on Application requirements of the Greater Vancouver Sewerage and Drainage District Municipal Solid Waste Recyclable Material Regulatory Bylaw, as determined by the Solid Waste Manager.

The Bylaw outlines:

  • requirements for posting, publishing and other forms of notification that may be required
  • the duties of the applicant and the Solid Waste Manager
  • the discretionary authority of the Solid Waste Manager

The following is a list of applications for new licences or licence amendments that are considered final and for which we are still accepting comments. For high-profile applications we are trialing an on-line process for providing information to and receiving comments from the public.
