WATERSHED DISCOVERY SCHOOL in the Seymour Watershed (Lower Seymour Conservation Reserve)

2010 Schedule now available. Registration begins May 12th.

  • an outdoor nature and science discovery program for children entering grades 4 or 5 
  • runs 9 am – 3:30 pm for 3 days
  • small group size (max 15 per session) in July and August
  • led by 2 professional watershed educators
  • children will discover many facets of the watershed's forest and stream ecosystems through
    individual and team play, games, activities, crafts, and hands-on exploration
  • located in the forested valley south of the Seymour Falls Dam (LSCR)
  • programs based out of the Learning Lodge classroom

Come along for a wild and watery adventure in the Seymour Watershed!  Spend some time exploring forests, valleys, mountains and streams.  Become inspired by the elements of the natural world and learn how they live together in harmony. Uncover  forces that can work against them and the skills you can use to take action.
