Construction is nearly complete on the Lynn Valley Reservoir, located in the Lower Seymour Conservation Reserve in the District of North Vancouver. Metro Vancouver’s contractor began work on this facility in spring of 2015, and is now completing the site restoration. The reservoir is expected to be in service by the end of September 2016.

The Lynn Valley Reservoir is one of over 20 in-system reservoirs Metro Vancouver uses to supply drinking water throughout the region. In-system reservoirs like this one refill overnight, so that water is ready, at the right pressure, for use in homes and businesses during daytime hours. The reservoir site also includes a new trail that connects to a neighbourhood trail system.
