Environmental Achievement Award - Waste Reduction InitiativeEnvironmental Achievement Award - Waste Reduction Initiative<div class="ExternalClass0005997F3AE34C0BAE111DD1A0922306"><p>Metro Vancouver was presented the 2016 Award for Environmental Achievement in the Public Sector by the Recycling Council of BC at their annual conference on May 19<sup>th</sup>. The award, known as the MOBI, recognizes the leadership of Metro Vancouver in founding the National Zero Waste Council and its on-going role in hosting the secretariat for the National Zero Waste Council. </p><p>Founded in 2013, the Council is a cross-sector collaboration model that is focused on driving systems change in waste prevention.
