The Commitment
- Represent your School District as part of a diverse regional network of Youth4Action Ambassadors and student leaders
- Participate fully and contribute to the effective growth of Youth4Action’s regional network and impact
- Attend monthly online regional network meetings and contribute to select in-person leadership experiences held during the school year
- Bring forward updates, ideas and opportunities to enhance and improve collaboration
- Increase the impact of youth leadership in your School District through succession planning, recruitment, and engagement
This program is offered at no cost to successful applicants. However, a full commitment to participate in all program components is required.
Who Should Apply?
Metro Vancouver Secondary Students (grades 9-12) who are passionate about sustainability, climate action and leadership. Students from the following school districts in Metro Vancouver are encouraged to apply:
- Burnaby
- Coquitlam
- Delta
- Langley
- Maple Ridge-Pitt Meadows
- New Westminster
- North Vancouver
- Richmond
- Surrey
- Vancouver
- West Vancouver
- Independent Schools
When Will the Program Take Place?
The 2021-2022 Ambassador cohort is currently underway. The next ambassador cohort will commence in Fall 2022.
