| One of the greatest gifts I have ever received was a Kiva.org gift card from my brother. Kiva is a non-profit organization with a mission to connect people through lending to alleviate poverty. Kiva works with microfinance institutions to lend money to people in underdeveloped country to futher their businesses such as farming, cloth making, etc. The people pay back the loan so you get your money back over time so you can lend the same money over and over again to different people in need.
