Waste-to-Energy Facility
Metro Vancouver’s Waste-to-Energy Facility recovers energy and metals from garbage that cannot be recycled.
Vancouver Landfill
The Vancouver Landfill serves residential and commercial customers from Metro Vancouver for final disposal of their garbage. The landfill also has a recycling area for residents to drop off a wide range of recyclable materials, many of which are accepted for free.
Construction & Industry Waste
The construction, demolition and renovation of buildings makes up a third of our region’s waste, largely from home demolitions. Much of this material can be recycled. Find a toolkit, case studies and current and future regulations.
