Project Update

  • THE FIRST PHASE OF THE NORTH ROAD SEWER UPGRADE PROJECT IS COMPLETE! - posted on July 21, 2020

    Thank You!

Metro Vancouver has now completed the replacement of the sewer along North Road between Hume Park and Gatineau Place in the Cities of Burnaby and Coquitlam.

The new, larger pipe that is now in place helps ensure that wastewater continues to be safely and reliably managed in the Metro Vancouver region.

Thank you for your continued patience and understanding during construction of this essential sewer infrastructure project in your neighbourhood.

The next phase of this project located along the BNSF Railway Overpass just south of the Highway One Overpass is expected to begin in 2021.
