On Nov 30, 2016, Metro Vancouver issued a letter to Harvest Power requiring a biofilter media change out. The letter can be found
Metro Vancouver has taken enforcement action against Harvest Power for violations of their permit and GVRD Air Quality Management Bylaw 1082, 2008.
Harvest’s permit contains requirements for emissions monitoring, as did the previous authorizations. Some historical reports are linked below. Additional reports will be posted after they’ve been reviewed for compliance with the BC Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
Metro Vancouver acknowledges that the region’s residents live, work, and learn on the shared territories of many Indigenous peoples, including 10 local First Nations: Katzie, Kwantlen, Kwikwetlem, Matsqui, Musqueam, Qayqayt, Semiahmoo, Squamish, Tsawwassen, and Tsleil-Waututh.
Metro Vancouver respects the diverse and distinct histories, languages, and cultures of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit, which collectively enrich our lives and the region.
