Find out what makes our region one of the most livable regions
in the world. Through family-friendly live performances, interactive games, free
popcorn and a contest to win an electric bike, Metro Vancouver’s exhibit will
take visitors on a journey that will leave them inspired about where they live
and an appreciation for what it takes to plan for a resilient future.
Metro Vancouver acknowledges that the region’s residents live,
work, and learn on the shared territories of many Indigenous
peoples, including 10 local First Nations: Katzie, Kwantlen,
Kwikwetlem, Matsqui, Musqueam, Qayqayt, Semiahmoo, Squamish,
Tsawwassen, and Tsleil-Waututh.
Metro Vancouver respects the diverse and distinct histories,
languages, and cultures of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit, which
collectively enrich our lives and the region.
