Barnston Maple Ridge Water Pump Station Barnston Maple Ridge Water Pump Station <div class="ExternalClass101CA8F93132423EBE3CA0396CFA1B68"><p>The large-diameter water mains at the pump station site are complete, and the suction and discharge lines inside the station have been installed.  Connections to the individual pumping units are expected to be complete by the end of March.  And, construction of the pump station building, including a green roof, is complete and exterior finishes are underway.</p><p>Remaining work includes: installation of electrical equipment and heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, mechanical piping completion, testing and commissioning, exterior connections to Metro Vancouver's water system, and landscaping.</p><p>The pump station is expected to be in operation by summer 2015.</p></div>http://www.metrovancouver.org/metroupdate/PublishingImages/a6-water.jpg2015-02-26T08:00:00ZGP0|#52401d1f-e9cf-4238-83ee-d36a1e035119;L0|#052401d1f-e9cf-4238-83ee-d36a1e035119|Issue 6;GTSet|#d14ffe11-45dc-48fb-8684-ff109cf15a74<div class="ExternalClassBEC4267D486340E49C29542656ED8FBF"><p>​The new Barnston/Maple Ridge Pump Station, which will help meet the growing water demands for Maple Ridge, Surrey, and the Township and City of Langley, is approximately 80 percent complete.</p></div>
