Metro Vancouver’s We Love Water campaign has the answers.

The campaign, now in its third year, expanded in 2018 to include a spring ‘source to tap’ phase, focusing on increasing residents’ awareness and appreciation of our unique water supply. This paved the way for the summer conservation phase, which provides tips to use a little less water around the home.

When it comes to water conservation, small actions really add up, and it’s easy to underestimate how much water is wasted on excessive lawn watering or hosing down our cars, patios and driveways. On welovewater.ca, you can find shareable tips for conservation inside and outside the home, as well as additional information on our water system, waterwise lawn care information, helpful videos and more.

Metro Vancouver also engages residents by providing public access to information on the regional water supply system, watershed tours and hosting the Water Wagon at events throughout the region. This year, the Water Wagon is scheduled to attend 55 event days. In addition to quenching their thirst and reducing the use of disposable plastic water bottles, event attendees are able to learn more about their water system and conservation, via engaging interactive displays.

http://www.metrovancouver.org/metroupdate/PublishingImages/issue45-welovewater.jpg2018-07-30T07:00:00ZGP0|#76d09df2-5a56-4714-9d4a-56a599fd2fd4;L0|#076d09df2-5a56-4714-9d4a-56a599fd2fd4|Issue 45;GTSet|#d14ffe11-45dc-48fb-8684-ff109cf15a74

Do you know where your water comes from or how it gets to your tap?
