New this year is a Merry Memory Maker App, which helps gift givers by suggesting experience-based or long-lasting gift ideas within any price range. The app inspires people to try something different this holiday season, and makes it easier to create memories, not garbage.</p><p>The app will be featured this Saturday at the City of Port Coquitlam’s Hyde Creek Recreation Centre, where there will be a series of “mini-experiences” based on a variety of programs offered in the recreation centre winter guide. Visitors will have a chance to try a program, experience how fun it is, and buy that same experience for someone as a gift.
