When mobility issues limited access for a visitor, a team of locals --including the municipal library-- found a solution.</p><p> <strong> <a href="/media-room/video-gallery/metro-vancouver-close-up/217908570" target="_blank">Surrey Bend Regional Park Official Opening</a></strong>: A new 348 hectare park on the banks of the Fraser River is the result of a unique partnership between City of Surrey and Metro Vancouver. This rare un-dyked bend in the river features floodplains, bog and picnic shelters. It took 20 years of land acquisition and now it’s officially open. </p></div></div>0
