Regional Prosperity, Interconnected Urban Centres, Driving Change
On February 8, Chair Greg Moore presented his fourth annual address to the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade where he discussed the importance of interconnected urban centres and the role of local governments to facilitate dialogue between citizens and institutions, in support of a strong, sustainable, and prosperous economy.
Chair Moore also described how regional collaboration is driving change in important areas such as the Regional Prosperity Initiative, Metro 2040, the Industrial Lands Strategy, Affordable Rental Housing Strategy, National Zero Waste Council and many others.
Chair Moore’s presentation was followed by a moderated Q&A with Frances Bula, urban issues Journalist.
